Meet the KASE Paranormal Team

Behind every KASE investigation is a team of people with different backgrounds, careers, beliefs and areas of experience.

Some members have had personal experiences they cannot fully explain. Some are more sceptical. Some approach the paranormal through history, technology, evidence handling, research, mediumship or the practical work of investigation. That mix matters because no one person sees everything, and no single viewpoint should control the whole picture.

KASE is a private, members-only paranormal investigation group based in Kent. The team focuses on serious investigations, evidence review, local history, venue reports and documenting unexplained activity without turning it into theatre.

KASE is made up of around 15 active members.

A Team Built On Different Viewpoints

A strong investigation team needs more than one type of person. It needs people who are open to the paranormal and people who are comfortable asking difficult questions. It needs practical organisers, careful observers, people who understand equipment and technology, people who are interested in history and people who are willing to explore the spiritual side of a case without making it the only explanation.

That range of viewpoints helps KASE stay grounded. Strange activity should not be dismissed without thought, but it should not be exaggerated either. The aim is to listen, check, compare and document what happened as honestly as possible.

Our Team Members

Dan

Paranormal Investigator and Team Lead

“I’ve had a passion for the paranormal since experiencing something unexplained at a young age, which sparked my interest in investigating the unknown. A few years ago, I took over leading KASE Paranormal and I’m proud to run a team of likeminded, passionate people dedicated to serious paranormal investigation. In early 2026, I completed a Professional Parapsychology Diploma Course, gaining certification to further develop my understanding of paranormal research. As the team’s main point of contact, I enjoy listening to people’s experiences, offering support where possible, and overseeing the overall direction of investigations.”

Laura

Lead Medium and Paranormal Investigator

“I have always been drawn to the paranormal, spirit communication and the stories people carry with them after experiencing something they cannot explain. As Lead Medium and Paranormal Investigator for KASE, I bring the spiritual and intuitive side into investigations while still respecting the need to question, compare and check what is being picked up. I am interested in the people behind the activity, the emotions attached to places and the way mediumship can sit alongside evidence rather than replace it. For me, KASE works because belief and scepticism can challenge each other without shutting each other down.”

Lucy

Baseline Coordinator and Paranormal Investigator

“I have been interested in the paranormal for as long as I can remember and have been investigating for the last 10 years. I am a mum of two boys and, Monday to Friday, I work as an Office Administrator. I have seen and heard so many things that I just cannot explain, but I always try to stay grounded and practical before jumping to a paranormal conclusion.”

Rick

Paranormal Investigator and Podcast Co-host

“I grew up around unexplained activity and stories that I could never quite dismiss, so the paranormal has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I would describe myself as a sceptic with an open mind. I will question things, but I am also willing to keep looking when something does not fit neatly into a normal explanation. My first investigation with KASE turned curiosity into commitment, and I now bring that same open but questioning approach to investigations and to The KASE Files podcast.”

Graham AKA Crabby

Paranormal Investigator and Podcast Co-host

“I have spent more than 20 years chasing the unexplained, and the interest has only grown stronger. Away from KASE, I am a dad, an IT engineer and a trainee actor, which gives me a fairly practical eye when it comes to people, places and technology. For years I approached the paranormal as a sceptic, convinced there would always be a rational answer, until an investigation at Kelvedon changed how I looked at things. I still like to question what we experience, but I am much more open to the idea that some rooms do not give up their answers easily.”

Sam

Paranormal Investigator

“I have been curious about the paranormal since I was little, after hearing my mum (Lucy), who is also in this group, talk about her experiences. I had to wait quite a few years until I was old enough to go on an investigation. My favourite location so far has to be Gloucester Prison. The footsteps we heard down the hallway were amazing.”

Why the Mix Works

KASE works best when a case is looked at by people who do not all think in the same way.

A believer may notice an atmosphere, pattern or personal detail that deserves attention. A sceptic may ask whether the evidence is strong enough. Someone with a technical background may look more closely at equipment, audio, lighting or environmental factors. Someone with strong organisational skills may make sure the work is planned, recorded and turned into something useful afterwards.

This stops the team from drifting into easy answers. Strange does not always mean paranormal, but ordinary explanations should not be used as a way to dismiss people who are genuinely unsettled.

The strength of the team is in the comparison: different people, different viewpoints, and a shared willingness to question what happened properly.

How We Handle Sensitive Cases

KASE treats private cases with care, confidentiality and consent. The team does not use scare tactics, does not pressure people into paid services, and does not assume a paranormal answer before practical causes have been considered.

When a case involves a family, children, vulnerable people or a worried homeowner, the priority is to listen carefully, document what has been reported, check sensible explanations and explain findings in a calm way.
